How to prepare for a Distant Reiki Healing Session

Distant Reiki can be given to you at anytime of the day. The energy is always effective and goes where it is needed, even when you are unaware. This is the beauty of how your body works. Your body will heal and repair itself if given opportunity by unblocking areas, increasing flow and intensions. You can be asleep, working, busy, not busy--doesn't matter. Ideally, I would rather you have a time and space put away where you are awake and aware that your session is to begin because your senses are heightened and you will possibly feel many things. The 15 Minute Distant Reiki Healing

I call this a tune up, due to time restraints.


The 30-60 Minute Distant Reiki Healing

These are an expansion of the tune-up with far more time, energy and concentration.


What to expect:

I will say a blessing of intentional healing and love over you, clearing all negative energy from you. I will re-balance your chakras to get that energy flowing in all the right places. I will begin at your first, base chakra and work my way up to your 7th crown chakra. You may feel my energy movement moving from the base of your spine all the way to to the top of your head. You may feel movement, heat, tingling, etc... You may have emotional releases--feelings come out, crying, you may feel temperature changes. Just let your body experience what it needs , do not try to dictate or control this. Just breathe and allow the balancing to occur. After chakra balancing, I will apply Reiki and Quantum Touch energy healing. I will encircle your body at each point with energy. Some areas I may stay longer than others. It depends on what is needed. When you have received adequate energy for your healing, I will seal this pure positive light inside of you. This energy will feel so good. You may experience an energizing state or you may even fall asleep. It is ok to fall asleep. Our bodies heal very well in a rested state!


How do I prepare for this?

Here's the easy part! At least 5 minutes before our session, find a quiet place that you will not be disturbed for 20 minutes or more.

  • Put on some soft music (or none) whatever you find relaxing.

  • If you have essential oils, use them. Whatever puts your mind in a very peaceful mood, do! Candles?

  • Please lay down (or sit) in a comfortable position on your back.

  • When relaxed, take a survey of your body for any areas of tension. One by one let the tension go. Any physical/emotional pain: acknowledge it and visualize it being released into the sky.

I will text or message you when ready to begin. At this time, I want you to begin deep slow breathing. Visualize with each breath is filling your body with life giving energy. When you exhale you are releasing all that does not serve you. In and Out. Nice and Slow. Rejuvenating and Refreshing. Feel the love surrounding. You are in the right place. You are safe, you are loved, you are adored. Fill yourself with these beautiful thoughts.

I will extend to you a chord of energy from me to you. It connects where you visually see or feel it connect. Make the connection. This chord is the universal energy that I am harnessing and delivering to you. This energy goes where it is needed. Our breathing together is like the great ebbing and flowing of the sea. With every exhalation you become more and more relaxed. You are safe. You are free to journey in your own way in your own time.


Afterwards:

  • Drink lots of water. Energy work on a thirsty soul needs water!

  • Go slow for a bit of time until you are fully aware and have your balance and senses back

  • I will text you after to Thank you and ask you how you are doing.
